IX - 1 Drama

Posted by Unknown 0 comments

Those all are my classmates, all 9th graders. They were doing a comedian play on November 24th in a Family Gathering event held by our school, SMPN 1 Bekasi. They memorized no script at all, it was all spontaneous and accidentally played. The props were simple and cheap.

So, enjoy the play and don't forget to subscribe my channel on here

Catching Feelings (Part 4)

Posted by Unknown 0 comments

Finally, the time came. Justin flew to Canada. He held the first Canada show in his hometown, Stratford. The venue was already set up by some crews because Scooter had told them earlier. He went to his old house to meet his grandparents and some friends. He, for the first time after years, felt safe again.
“Hey, Man!” Ryan greeted him with a huge smile. They did their special handshake. Chaz followed the gestures and did the same thing.
The house was filled with Justin’s close friends and family members. The only one missing was his best friend, April. Justin looked all over the house to find her, but still she wasn’t there.
“Where’s April?” asked Justin to Ryan.
“She couldn’t come. She said she’s not feeling well,” said Ryan. “But she wanted me to give you this.”
Ryan handed Justin the old scrapbook. Justin remembered this particular item precisely. He traced his fingers following the border of every design on the cover. He walked up to his room and placed the scrapbook on the drawer beside his bed.
“Where are you?” Justin asked April as if she could hear him.
***
The show started an hour ago in the venue. Everyone was there. Mom, Dad, grandpa, grandma, Ryan, Chaz, and some other people came. And again, April didn’t show up. Justin continued his performance while secretly hoping his best friend would come.
Justin took a five minutes break. At that time, April showed up among the crowd trying so hard to not get noticed by Justin. And then, the show started again and everybody was enjoying the show.
One Less Lonely Girl was about to be performed. Justin whispered to his dancers that there won’t be any girl on the stool because the girl didn’t show up. He meant April. He wanted to dedicate the song to April, his best friend. But since she didn’t show up, Justin decided to leave the stool empty throughout the song.
“So, this time, my OLLG won’t sit on this stool. She’s busy in her house right now, hating my guts because I guess she thinks I’ve forgotten about her,” Justin said to everyone. “She’s my best friend. Her name is April. We’ve been best friend ever since we were so little. I met her when I was five. We went to the same school every year. And I guess, now, she doesn’t want to be best friend with me anymore. I guess, she has found her new best friend.”
The song started and Justin sang the first part. He felt disappointed and also sad. It was like a confirmation that somebody—somebody really special—had forgotten him.
When it was time for the OLLG to show up, April secretly went on the stage without Justin knowing. Everybody screamed so loud and Justin thought it was just a usual expression of excitement from the fans. When he got down from the stairs after finishing the line, he turned to face April, who was sitting on the stool. Justin’s face lit up and he picked up the rose and gave it to April.
“Wait, hold on. Stop the song, please!” Justin commanded. He moved the microphone away from his mouth and hugged April with joy. “Where were you?”
“In my room, trying to forget you. But I just couldn’t do it. I miss you so much, Justin,” said April returning the hug to Justin.
            “Why?” asked Justin sadly.
“I guess you’ve already found a new best friend. And she’s also your girlfriend. So, I thought I was replaced by her,” April confessed with teary eyes.
Justin chuckled. “You are the stupidest yet sweetest best friend I’ve ever had. That person… I was talking about you, April. She is you. I love you. More than just love you as my best friend. I love you so much.”
April’s face was looking like someone had just thrown tomato sauce at her cheeks. Red.
“You’re blushing. So cute,” Justin hugged April tight. “I love you.”
The fans were screaming loud and everybody awed the two on stage. Instead of continuing One Less Lonely Girl, Justin asked for Catching Feelings to be played. The beat started and he sang beautifully dedicated to the love of his life and his amazing best friend, April.

Catching Feelings (Part 3)

After months of loneliness, April got a bit quieter at school most of the time. She missed Justin a lot. She used to sit next to him every lunch and got into a little food fight. Everyone used to tell them to stop. April missed the presence of Justin by her side. She missed Justin and their time together.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Ryan approached April while bringing his lunch to the table.
“I miss him,” April answered quietly. She stared her lunch with a pair of sad eyes and a blank expression.
“We do, too. But don’t worry. He’ll come back soon. He’ll be performing live in one of the venue around here,” said Ryan trying to cheer her up.
“Let’s just hope so,” April ended the conversation before getting her eyes watery…again.
The lunch time was over and everybody got back to their next class. It was hard for April to walk alone now. Justin was always there to walk her to class before he left. Now, April had to walk alone and feel the absence of her best friend.
***
It had been two years since Justin got his name on the A-list board. He had become one of the biggest sensations all around the world. He already toured to some of the biggest cities across the world. But, the one thing he still hadn’t done was to go back to his hometown. He never felt homesick again. To be honest, Pattie started to feel worried about Justin. He changed into someone different. Justin was a bit cold and unresponsive and also cocky sometimes. Pattie worried that she might lose the old friendly and warm Justin everyone used to love.
“Hey, Justin can I talk with you for a minute?” asked Pattie after Justin did an interview. She dragged him into his dressing room. “Don’t you feel it?”
“Feel what, mom?” Justin asked annoyed.
“You’ve changed. I’ve been watching you for the past eight months. You look so different and act a bit like a jerk,” Pattie criticized.
“Mom, really? I haven’t changed. I just grew up. I’m still me, but I’m a more mature me. I’m not a jerk, mom. Trust me,” Justin defended himself.
“No, honey, tell me. What’s wrong?” Pattie asked with a worried expression. She could see the disappointed and scared look on Justin’s eyes. She knew something had hit Justin hard and made him like this.
Justin took a deep breath. “I’m not ready to go back to Canada. You know how worried I am, knowing that my best friends might forget me? That’s why I became cold and unresponsive. I’m just preparing for the worst to happen.”
Pattie hugged Justin and calmed him down. “Justin, honey, that’s not the way to solve that. I’m sure your friends will still remember you. They still love you just like they did years ago. Now, can you please correct yourself and change to the old you?”
Justin nodded and got out of the hug. He went outside his dressing room to get ready for another session of an interview. It was a bit strange for Justin to change his act. So, he decided to disobey his mom and kept on acting like a jerk, just like what his mom said.
***
“Every time Justin got asked by the media about his love life, he will always say that he’s already got a special one. Why does this teen-sensation always say that? Stick around to find out!” the host of the entertainment closed the segment before commercial break.
April, who was watching the show, got a bit upset about that. She got disappointed. Her face turned red and if Justin was there, he would know that in about three minutes, April would blow up.
The show was back on and April stayed to watch. The host showed a clip of an interview session with Justin.
“So, Justin, I heard you’re single. Is that true?” asked the interviewer.
“Yep,” Justin answered shortly, looking uninterested in this particular topic.
“Oh, so you don’t have anyone special at the time?” the interviewer asked again.
“I do. But I guess she doesn’t like all the publicity and everything. So, let’s just keep this low and quiet,” Justin drove the topic to another direction.
April, on the other situation, got upset. She found out that Justin already got a new girl. He probably didn’t need any presence of a best friend anymore. So, April turned off the TV and went upstairs to her room.
There she was. Looking at the ceiling and feeling disappointed because of her best friend who’s now famous. As time passed, the walls around her heart got thicker and tighter and also stronger. She decided to close her heart because she knew her best friend is going to leave her for someone better. April closed her eyes and tried to burry all of her memory slowly.

Meanwhile, Justin and his mom landed on Atlanta an hour ago. His new manager picked them up at the airport and drove straight to their new condo. It was a temporary condo because the manager hadn’t bought any house for them yet. Justin was just going with the flow. He followed every instruction from the manager until he met Usher at the recording studio.
“Hey, I’m Justin! Nice to meet you!” Justin greeted Usher with a warm smile.
“Hi, buddy! Let’s go inside and we’ll talk a bit more. It’s pretty cold out here,” Usher brought Justin and his mom into the studio and sat them down. “So, are you gonna sing me a song or what?”
“Yeah, I’ll sing you a song,” Justin said confidently. He opened his mouth and the heavenly voice came out filling the room with new sensation. Usher’s position went from so laid back to a straight shape and he looked at Justin very intensely as he watched every sound Justin made.
Justin finished his three minutes of spotlight right when his new manager walked in. He was a bit shocked that Justin had already met Usher. He got nervous and re-introduced Justin to Usher.
“Scooter, I thought he was one of your nephews,” Usher claimed. “Well, we’d be glad to work with you, Justin. You sounded amazing. I love your growl and the vibration and also your improvisation. You were incredible.”
Scooter, the manager, smiled at Usher’s feedback. “This kid came from YouTube. I found him there and I flew him all the way from Canada to meet us here in US.”
“Wow! This kid is gonna be a legend,” Usher whispered to Scooter. He walked away after hugged Justin and his mom.
***
Weeks had passed. Everything worked out. The only problem was some radio station didn’t allow Justin to play his song because he wasn’t from Disney or Nickelodeon or anything like that. Scooter and the crew hit the hard time.
Today was Justin’s first break time after weeks of interviewing and performing live here and there. He just spent his time in front of the TV and gradually got bored. His mom had a meeting with Scooter and now he was left alone in his condo.
Justin wandered around the room and found his Canadian stuff. He looked through it and actually had a bit of joy while enjoying the memory. There was a tiny dark blue colored box that labeled ‘Best friend’. Justin knew right away it was from April. He kind of missed her.
Slowly, Justin opened the box and found a stack of pictures inside. They were all their photographic memories. There was a picture of April and Justin playing on the swing. Another picture was when April was having a birthday party and Justin messed her face with the birthday cake. The photographs made Justin’s eyes got a bit teary. He missed his best friend. A lot. Not just kind of, but a lot. He hadn’t seen her for months.
“Hey, honey. What’s wrong?” asked Pattie, Justin’s mom, as she walked in her room.
Justin looked up and gave her the sad eyes. “I miss her.”
“Who? April?” Pattie sat down with Justin and took a look at what Justin was holding.
“I miss them. I miss April, Ryan, Chaz, grandpa, grandma, Dad, and everyone,” Justin cried as he placed his head on Pattie’s shoulder.
“You’re just homesick, Justin. We’ll see them soon. I promise,” Pattie kissed Justin forehead before helping him tidy things up the way it was before. Justin smiled it away and shook all of his thought off. He then jumped into the bed and forced his mind to fall asleep.

“Hey! That’s my slice of pizza, Justin!” April cried out begging for Justin to return her slice.
“I haven’t even touched this pizza,” Justin snapped back at April who was now getting annoyed.
“You already ate half of that and you still want my part?” April asked in a high voice. That kind of voice symbolizes April’s irritated feelings.
Justin laughed and set up the slice of pizza on a plate. “Here you go, Your Highness.”
“Thank you,” April sighed in relieve and ate it with peace.
Justin joined the rest of the group who were watching the horror movie in the living room. Yeah, they were throwing a party to celebrate Justin’s success. Somebody signed him to a record label a couple weeks ago and now Justin decided to have some farewell party.
The party went on for about two more hours until everybody fell asleep in front of the TV. Justin, who wasn’t feeling sleepy yet, asked April to accompany him to the pool in the back yard.
“What’s wrong?” April asked concernedly knowing that Justin must had thought about something that bothered his mind.
“I’m not ready,” Justin gave an answer as he dipped his feet into the pool, landing his butt on the dried edge of the pool.
“Why? I thought this thing is something you’ve always dreamed of. I mean, you love singing,” April said convincing and at the same time agreeing with Justin’s thought. She didn’t want Justin to leave her alone in this town.
“I don’t know. Everything seems like it’s going too fast for me, you know. I don’t want to fail in the middle of getting my success,” Justin’s voice got a little softer.
April smiled and grabbed Justin by his hand. “You know, I’ve always believed in you. You’ve gone through whole lot bigger and harder things. I believe that you can go pass through this and you know, be the best.”
Justin turned to face April as his face lightened up. “I love you, you know that?”
“Yeah, I know. There’s nothing else in the world that can replace me as your best friend,” April said wrapping her left hand around Justin’s waist.
“Nothing,” Justin echoed the word nothing and placed his head upon April’s left shoulder.
The night went quiet and the water in the pool got steady. Justin and April stayed in the same place while both of their minds flew all around from one place to another. Justin was thinking more about his future ahead and April was hoping that Justin would never forget her.
***
Justin and his mom flew back to the US and left their family behind in Canada. April was also left there. The rest of Justin’s best buds gathered in union and wished Justin the best. Some of the girls had already cried their eyes out, including April. She was sad that Justin left, but on the other hand she was also thrilled to see a brand new Justin on TV or media.
The group went back to their houses and tried to calm themselves down. Each prayed for Justin and his mom. April continued her tears inside her room. She opened the scrapbook she made with Justin when they were six. It was filled with pictures and drawings and also abstract designs. Justin was quite an artist at drawing abstract things. He doodled a lot back then.
As April turned every page of the scrapbook, memories came rushing inside her head. Tears rolled down rapidly on her cheeks and fell on to one picture. The picture was taken on Justin’s 6th birthday. April gave him a kiss on his left cheek, while Justin was smiling wide. They were always that close up until now.
April decided to close the scrapbook because she couldn’t bear to lose anymore tears. She placed the scrapbook somewhere under her bed. As she laid herself on the bed, she thought about Justin.
“I hope you haven’t changed when you get back, Justin,” whispered April before closing her eyes. She forced herself to fall asleep.

Stuck In The Moment (Part 4)

“Quinn,” I replied him and shook his hand.
“Quinn,” he said my name and suddenly I felt butterflies rushing out and flying inside the pit of my stomach. “Nice to meet you, Quinn.”
I smiled. “Nice to meet you, Justin.”
Justin, again, looked straight in my eyes and as if he found my soul, he didn’t bother to look away. The security finally asked me to go. Justin waved his hand and went back to whatever he was doing.
It was a weird thing. Why did Justin want to know me so bad? I mean, he met few other beliebers who were clearly much better-looking than I am. Well, I still enjoyed the tingling moment when he hugged and shook my hand. It was enchanting.
***
So, my summer was all about that. Ever since it happened, I kept getting mails from unknown sender. A week ago, I checked my mailbox and found a post-card. ‘Thank you, Quinn’ was written on it and it got signature at the bottom right of the card. The initials were obvious and clear, Justin Bieber.
“How did he find me?” I asked myself while holding the card in front of my chest.

***
The show started. As the previous concerts Justin had done, girls were screaming wild and loud. The whole stadium was filled with screams and chanting. Justin did incredible dances, pulled-off such amazing performances, and he also received lots of thrown stuff on stage.
Since I was one of the VIP winners, I was told to go a little bit closer to the stage. Mom said it was okay, so I blended in with the crowd. Justin reached his hand out for the crowd. I was right in front of his face. His eyes were looking straight at mine. I touched his hand and secretly promised myself never to watch this hand. Justin held my hand a bit longer. I felt it. I realized that I wasn’t the one who passionately tightened the grip. He felt like he never wanted to let my hand go. I enjoyed the moment and also noticed that other girls were looking at me furiously. Justin finally let go.
After what just happened, I calmed myself down. Justin took a five minutes break before performing another song. I got back to my seat and found Mom.
“This is by far the second most crowded and loudest concerts I’ve ever been to,” Mom commented.
“What was the first?” I asked curiously.
“Michael’s,” Mom answered calmly as if she didn’t know I was going to freak out.
“Hold on, you went to MJ’s concert?!” my eyes widened as Mom smiled. “No way! Whoa! Mom, I can’t believe you! Wow! Mom, MJ the King of Pop? You watched him live? No way!”
“Yes way! This right here is close enough to equalize the success of MJ’s concert,” Mom replied my shocking expression.
A couple of minutes later, Justin walked out of the backstage. He chatted with the audience. He continued performing and the night went awesome like Justin’s usual concerts.
***
The meet-n-greet was held the day after the concert. Mom drove me off to the venue. It was not as crowded as the night before. Less people were there. Since the meet-n-greet was only for the VIP’s, less people showed up. There were more photographers and medias than actual beliebers.
I got in line like the others. The line shortened quite fast. There were two more pairs of beliebers before it was my turn. Then finally, the crew called my name. They led me to the room and Justin’s reaction was a bit strange. It seemed like he already met me.
“Hey!” Justin greeted me warmly. He hugged me tight and hung on for about five seconds before letting go.
“Hi!” I hugged him back, enjoying the five-seconds bonus.
“Have we met before?” he asked with a hopeful eyes.
“Maybe. I’ve seen you on screen and magazines and everything,” I joked around. He laughed at my stupid joke.
“Well, I saw this girl last night when I was performing. She looked just like you. I held her hand way longer than I’ve ever held any fans’ hand before,” Justin explained. “I’m sure that girl was you, though.”
“Really? Well, maybe you misplace me with someone else,” I denied even if I knew for sure he was talking about me.
“Maybe. Anyway, let’s take a picture,” Justin offered with his stunning smile.
The picture was taken and I hugged Justin one last time before leaving. I gave him my scrapbook. I made it a year ago, when it was summer. It was the same old boring summer, so I decided to make a scrapbook all about Justin. Justin looked at my work and thanked me.
I finally walked away from the room. But a second before I stepped my foot out of the room, Justin called me and walked towards me.
“I didn’t get your name,” Justin said with his hand ready to shake my mine.

“Somebody just sent me heaven!” I cried enthusiastically.
“Wait, they want you to die and go to heaven?” my brother asked stupidly.
“No, dummy! I just received two ticket’s for Bieber’s concert and one VIP pass for the meet-n-greet,” I explained, at the same time calming myself down.
My brother rolled his eyes and left. Dad did the same thing after him. Mom, apparently was stuck with my happiness. Mom smiled it away and asked me about the tickets.
“Well, if you wanna go with me to watch the concert, I’m fine. Well, all of my beliebers friends are with their families. So, if you’d like to go with me, Mom, I’ll let you,” I offered a special spot for Mom. “But you need to prepare your ears for the screaming and everything. I mean, Justin’s so good with girls.”
Mom gave me the look. “What?”
“Not that way! Mom! Eww!” I cried from grossness. “He’s good at making his fans scream and enjoy the performance. Okay, now you’re grossing me out with that look, Mom.”
Mom laughed. “Alright, sweetheart. I’ll go with you.”
***
June 23rd finally came. It was the day where I could finally see the love of my life for real. Mom drove to the arena where Justin was going to perform. Just like the other beliebers, I walked excitedly to the entrance gate and followed everyone else to the seat. Mom was pretty fast at adapting to the situation.
“They all are girls,” Mom whispered as we walked to our seats.
I grinned. “Well, there are also boys. But yeah, all you can see from here is girls and girls and girls.”
Mom shrugged her shoulder and pretended to enjoy the show.
The sound-check session begun and half of the arena was almost filled. Girls were screaming when one by one, the band members appeared. They weren’t even Justin. I was with them. I screamed almost all the time. My throat hurt, but I didn’t care.
Finally, Justin came out with just his shorts. He was topless. If Mom was one of my beliebers friends, we would definitely think about thousands different kinds of images in our heads and laugh our asses off. Justin said hi to all of the people in the arena.
“I was told to do a topless sound-check,” Justin said, teasing all of us.
            Scream.
“No. I was just kidding. Scooter and my mom will never ask me to do such things,” Justin said as one of his band members threw a t-shirt towards him. He caught it and put it on.
            Scream.
“What? You liked the topless better than now?” He teased again with grins all over his face.
            Scream.
“Anyway, are you ready for some noise?!” Justin yelled out.
            “YES!”
“Well, we’ll start in about 10 minutes. Now, let’s play Q&A,” Justin told one of his stage crews to give the microphone to whoever wanted to ask something.
The game went on for about five minutes. Justin said goodbye and went back to his dressing room to get ready. Mom sat down, not interested in any of these. I felt bad for her, actually. She was dragged to see all of this.
“Mom, are you alright?” I asked, feeling guilty.
“Yeah. When is it going to start?” Mom threw back a question.
“Probably, in five more minutes,” I replied clearly.

Stuck In The Moment (Part 1)

Posted by Unknown 0 comments

It was summer when everything happened. For me, this thing was totally unexpected. But just like what they say, unexpected things create the best memories. Well, they’re right about that.
This summer was supposed to be one of my best summers. For the record, I’ve never had a best summer ever since I hit puberty. It all started to turn into boredom. A couple months before summer, Mom had already planned everything. I guess, a meteor hit the Earth’s crust and changed Mom’s plans. She canceled every single plan. Every. Single. Plan. We were planned to spend the summer in grandpa’s cabin in Washington, and now bye-bye to grandpa’s cabin. Another plan was a trip to Nashville and the Coca-Cola museum, and again…bye-bye Nashville and Coca-Cola. Long story short, hello boredom!
Well, on the bright side I didn’t have to spend any money on anything this summer. But still, it was SUMMER!
Let’s just skip the bummer parts. So, it had been three days since my boring summer started. As usual, I woke up late. I ran downstairs, had my breakfast, went back up, and fell flat on my bed. Those all are my morning routines for this summer. And then, Mom called me from downstairs and told me to check the mailbox. I groaned but did what I was told.
I jogged outside, fighting the urge to hide from the bright shining sun. The mailbox was still the same, red and dusty. I opened the lid and grabbed all the mails. To be honest, it was pretty weird for my family to receive such a lot amount of mails at this kind of season. I mean, people barely stayed home and how did they even send the mails? I let that question hang there and walked back to my house.
“Here are the mails. Anything else?” I offered some help even if I wasn’t in the mood of helping anyone.
“Thank you, honey,” said Mom with a big smile on her face.
I decided not to go back to my room. The television was nobody’s control right now, so I turned it on and enjoyed whatever was on. Right after I settled my butt on the couch, Mom called me back to the kitchen where she opened all the mails.
“What’s wrong?” I asked feeling a bit annoyed.
“These are yours,” Mom landed me two different kinds of mails. One was wrapped up in glossy wrapping papers and the other one was a box.
I left the television on and ran upstairs to my room. I had never got any mail before, except from grandpa and grandma. So, these two packages were surprising. I left the glossy present alone and opened the other one.
This mail was from one of my teachers, Mrs. Marvis. She was my 7th grade homeroom teacher. So in my school, every summer the former homeroom teacher will always give something to her or his favorite student. Well, I guess this year Mrs. Marvis picked me. I got a notepad and a mug with some homemade decoration all around it. It says ‘You’re The Best!’ I awed the presents.
Moving on, I got my hands on the glossy package. I was rather nervous than excited to open this one. I mean, the mail got no address, just my name and my address. I slowly opened the package and it said ‘Congratulation!’ My question was…for what?
Justin Bieber’s face appeared behind the big ‘Congratulation!’ card. I unfold the t-shirt—yes, it was a t-shirt with Bieber’s face on it—and two papery things fell out. I settled the t-shirt on my bed and picked up the fallen things.
“OH MY GOD! MOM!” I screamed my lungs out and yelled for Mom to come and calm me down.
The two things that fell down a couple of seconds ago were two concert tickets with gold ribbon holding them together and one VIP pass for the meet-n-greet session. Right after I ran out of breath from screaming so loud, not just Mom, Dad and my older brother popped outside my room.
“What happened?!” asked all three of them with horror covering their looks.
