I just turned 13 last week and the birthday party was... Ah-MAZING!!! Since, my mom and dad kinda like millionaires and like really freaking rich, they let me invite all -I really mean ALL- the kids in my school. Geeks, nerds, losers, retarded kids, popular dudes and gals, ordinary kids, juniors, seniors, gangsta, football players, cheerleaders, basketball players, volleyball players, dramatic kids, etc. The point is, I invited ALL members in my middle school, George Washington Jr. Middle School. Jeez, I had to throw the party outside and inside my extremely big house. All I got to say was just WOW to my mom and dad.
Okay, so back to the story. Where were we???... Okay, right. So, I'm not one of those popular girls in school nor the nerdy one. I'm one of the ordinary students who has rich parents. But, I don't like people go like, "Wow! Your parents are the most rich parents I've ever met... Damn, Girl! You're lucky..." Because, I feel like they acted like they're nothing compared to me. All right, I have 2 best friends. They're Trace and Ellen. Trace is the most lovely guy I've ever known in my life time. In 6th grade, I used to have a HUGE crush on Trace. But, it flew away lately. Ellen... She's beautifully amazing and gorgeously awesome. She's been best friend with me since we were in diapers. Our moms are like the sun and its rays. They're freaking close. They shared many things together and I think they've been friends since diapers, too.Today, luckily, school was closed. Because most of the teachers went for some education thingy in San Fransisco. BTW, I lived in L.A, California. My house was just one block away from Trace's and our blocks were three intersections away from Ellen's and our housing was just 5 miles away from school. Confused? Me, too... Anyway, I rode my bike on the bikers road. The road I took was the road which led me straight to Trace's house. I usually play 24/7 in Trace's house on the weekend. His parents don't mind about me who often visited their house. As a matter of fact, they love my visits.
"Jasmine!" I heard someone's familiar voice yelled my name. I stopped my bike and turned my head to see who yelled my name. There he was, Trace. He was skating on his skateboard, moved towards me. He almost couldn't stop, but then I held his arm.
"Whoa! Slow down..." I said when he was about to bump my bike.
"Sorry... Kinda outta control... So, watcha doin'" Trace asked, finally stop his skateboard and took off his helmet.
"Yeah, it's okay... I was in the middle of visiting your house to ask you if you wanna hang out with me and Ellen. Now, while you're here, you wanna go to Ellen's?" I asked while volunteering myself to hold his helmet.
"Sure... Thanks for holdin' my helmet," he smiled and grabbed the helmet.
"No prob... All right! Come on!" I shouted. I rode my bike again and he followed me with his skateboard. Damn! Why in the world I keep blushing whenever he's around me?! Ugh! Stupid crush! He's my best friend, he doesn't even know if I like him, and I know that he'll never like me back... I mumbled to myself. I was slowing the bike down. Trace skated passed me.
"Jasmine! Jasmine! JASMINE!" he yelled my name and before he yelled the louder one, I came back down to earth.
"What?" I yelled back. We were like 500 meters far from each other.
"What were you doing? Day-dreaming while biking?? Jeez, girls ARE weird... No offense..." he shook his head in confused.
"Hey! I wasn't day-dreaming! I was just thinking and kinda forgot that I was riding my bike... Non taken," I replied.
"Yeah, whatever..." Trace said.
I got off of my bike and Trace walked with me without skating on his skateboard. I pushed my bike while walking with him. We talked and talked about stuff like we were just met. He has great personalities. After all these years, I've been friends with him, I eventually realized that he has great personalities?? What kind of best friend am I? Stupid one... -___-
"So, remember when we first met?" Trace broke the silence.
"Yup. I'll never forget that moments..." I answered. Foremost, when I keep falling deeper whenever you near me, Trace. You sighed.
"Yeah... Me neither. I'll never forget those sweet moments... What's wrong?" Trace noticed I was sighing a big sigh.
"Oh, nothin'... Anyway, prom's in a week. Do you have your girl, yet?" I asked him. I feel kinda worried, he might actually breaks my heart into trillion pieces if he says YES, I DO or he might shakes it when he says I'M STILL LOOKING. Please, be a good answer... I prayed in my mind.
"Don't know yet... I'm a 13 years old guy, who doesn't really care about prom stuff. Well, I care a lil' but not like super duper care about it. I'll get a girl, when I catch one in my sight. I'll skip the prom, if she doesn't appear... Who is your?" Trace questioned me. It made me a little nervous."Huh? Me? Nah, I don't know. I'd rather skip the prom than going with the wrong guy..." I answered so flat and expression-less.
"Oh... That was actually sweet..." Trace smiled and melted my heart. Not literally.

Ding! Dong! I rang Ellen's door bell. Switching turns with Trace. No one opened the door. After the 6th rings, Trace decided to leave and said that today's gonna be Trace and Jasmine day. I was like, Wow!
We went to the park which lies near the school. I thought, every weekend school's closed. But, today, school was opened. Maybe it was just some teachers meeting thingy.
"Want some ice-cream?" Trace asked in the middle of our little walk to the park. Wait, it wasn't a little walk. Since, the park lies near the school and our school's 5 miles away from our housing, we took the public-bus to get there. The bus-driver said I have to put my bike in front of the bus on the bike-holder thingy.
Back to Trace offer. "Yes... Can I have strawberry ice-cream, please?" I ordered.
"Sure.. I'll have chocolate," Trace said then walked away to the ice-cream shop.
Five minutes later, he came back with two ice-creams; one was mine and the other one was his. I smiled when he gave me my ice-cream. I think, today's gonna be great...
To Be Continued...
